  1. Also a sneak peek i am working on doing some MTG related parody songs once i got them written out i will just need to find some vocal talent...
  2. Hello Everyone, Apologies for being quiet on the forums lately i have started a new job and not getting much free time like i use to but once my probation is out of the way i can return with vengeance. If you want to chat direct to me best go through twitter!
  3. If you do trip 1 you will be very tired when getting to Rome so i would suggest doing a Roman Bath/Spa afternoon to chill out but the eurostar is great from London to Paris and you can relax in comfort etc.
  4. Basically by them asking the same question reworded its allows them to get greater accuracy with their data. But i wish they would publish the data for us all to see.
  5. I am so glad i scrubbed out early as i would not want to finish 5-4 as i would be so annoyed at missing out on day 2!
  6. When Pro Tour HOU was running there was alot of people complaining (mainly stateside) that watching the Pro Tour was hard due it being in such a different timezone. What is your opinion on how Wizards should address this going forward? *I am UK based and quite frankly never get a chance to watch a Pro Tour live anyway and do not mind catching up on Youtube or Twitch.
  7. Brewers minute is a sweet series I enjoy Seths take on deck building
  8. they are my favourite chapter by far! Have some many models with Forge world upgrade kits attached its not even funny.... I don't want to add up how much I spent over the years I did the hobby.
  9. I am glad he backed tracked when I was being trained there was a huge emphasis on selling the starter set which is useful for small rule book etc. and yes you can paint the mini's to be space wolves etc. but I wasn't a fan of having to force it down peoples throat so instead I just up big numbers will selling whole armies to people and having them come back as returning customers instead. Space wolves are good but Salamanders for the win boyo! Any time GW have changed the rules it messes with peoples armies my friend who has played Eldar from the start of the entire hobby has so many models his attic is the carry case..... TItans, Tanks, Soliders everything but he has had to adjust the army playing style so many times. He agrees it sucks but its not just GW that do it other gaming companies do it too its just that GW is the oldest most established game so they get a lot of the Flak for it!
  10. I am waiting for my wife to discover how many dice there are scattered around the spare room and the ensuing telling off to either get rid or tidy them up!
  11. They will obviously try and sell you stuff but what I used to do with my customers is firstly encourage them to buy the rules and army book, go home read and write a list of what they want to build then I would advise them the quickest/cheapest way to build the army. I.E. Army bundles, starter sets etc.
  12. Well all space marines are now in one book which is a vast improvement in my opinion. Primarks are allowed to be played too I believe... don't quote me on that just what the lads in Orcs Head Studios tell me who still play.
  13. only thing I would say is you may need more basics land as a lot of other decks may run effects for you to get basic lands etc. So run at least 1 plains and 1 swamp so your basic is fixed at least.
  14. Don't do it 40k is a slippery slope and hard to scramble out of that hole! Which army did you use to play? Some context I played 40k when I was younger and then was lucky enough to work for GW for over 3 years (the stash of miniatures I have yet to build is unreal) and I have eternal love for 40k and Fantasy (I know Age of Sigmar) but I came to magic for some important reasons such as getting to play lots of games of MTG in comparison to maybe 1/2 games of 40k etc. But I do miss painting it was the one thing I loved about the hobby and I have 3 full armies that show how well my painting skills have progressed too.
