I tend to listen to a lot of Video game soundtracks like the Final Fantasies, Xenoblade and Xenoblade Chronicals X, Child of Light, etc... I don't hear very well, so I tend to gravitate towards tunes that are easier for me to pick up and enjoy and for some reason the JRPG soundtracks seem to hit the sweet spot.

Fischerspooner - Emerge.

It's being used in an advert in the UK right now and reminded me how good it is - especially great for dancing around the kitchen at full volume, in your underpants with a 6YO boy (i appreciate how that sounds).

Changing up my standard playlist while at work and including some gaming soundtracks.  Here is a good one ...

Lyrics are shown in the video.  Translation below ...

Coco y Ron - The Daniel Indart Project

It's the breeze by the sea
It's the red in the sky
When the sun sets
By the boardwalk

It's the coconut juice
With a little rum
Or maybe it's the jukebox
Playing our song

Ay ay ay ay, ay ay ay ay
I miss you, love
Ay ay ay ay, ay ay ay ay
I miss you, love

It's the hot sand
It's the pearls of the sea
It's the wave that comes
And the wave that goes.... Ay ay

It's your cinnamon skin
Your coral mouth
Your love is the tide
That drags me to the depths of the sea

Ay ay ay ay, ay ay ay ay
I miss you, love
Ay ay ay ay, ay ay ay ay
I miss you, love

Little sea star
Little gift from the sky
Please go tell my sweet love
That I love her, that I am always waiting

I don't think its fake Pass.  Seems like something an old man living in the past might post.

People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true.

The irony is strong with this young punk.

You have to remember that Pas is no spring chicken either.  B)

I prefer the term 'Autumn Rooster'.

Very true that. Sometimes i think that Finn has kept me younger, but then I realise that I would act like a child regardless of my influences. I'm pretty sure i'm the only senior manager in my organisation that plays computer games seriously.

More deep diving through the stack of vinyl.  This one is also from 1981, but very different from the Devo track posted above.  I've been listening to this lately as background music, although you could listen to it solely for the sake of focused listening.  The entire album is linked here, but each track has its own contribution of atmosphere, texture, and sound.  Enjoy.

Synergy - Larry Fast - Audion (1981)

Track List:
1- Orbit Five - 0:00
2- Revolt At L-5 - 1:00
3- Terminal Hotel - 5:49
4- Electric Blue - 10:01
5- Ancestors - 16:20
6- After The Earthquake - 21:50
7- Falcons And Eagles - 25:20
8- Flight Of The Looking Glass - 31:00
9- Shibolet - 34:26
10- An End To History - 39:03

It's a hipster thing.
